My journey and why Can Do Kiwis exists
After learning a lot about myself, I realized I wanted to help spread positivity and fight against all the negativity in today’s media. I wanted to help tamariki and rangatahi like you become more self-aware and follow your passions.
The key is connection—connecting with yourself, your family and friends, your community, your culture and nature, and finally with Aotearoa New Zealand and the whole world.
That’s how Can Do Kiwis was born. Together with my wife Elisabeth, we started this charity to make a real positive difference in the lives of Aotearoa’s young people.
Our Founders
Kim Johnston
Father of two boys, lover of sports, gardening, music, reading and the outdoors.
Dr Elisabeth Johnston
Mother of two boys, lover of writing, meditation, Reiki and nature.
Vision
Provide an online education portal for Aotearoa New Zealand tamariki, rangatahi and parents. Connect with primary, intermediate and secondary schools via Can Do Kiwis programs.
Purpose
Helping tamariki and rangatahi become resilient, positively inspired Kiwis through passion, purpose and power.
